Email us at: info@henrules.pages.dev
We typically respond within 2–3 business days. If you're reporting an ordinance change, please include a link to the official city source (municipal code, city website, or official press release) so we can verify and update quickly.
What to Include in Your Message
To help us respond usefully, include:
- For corrections: The city and state, what the page currently says, what the correct information is, and a link to the official source (municipal code page, city press release, etc.).
- For new city requests: The city and state. We prioritize cities with high search volume and clear, publicly available ordinances.
- For general questions: Your city and state, and a brief description of your situation. Note that we cannot provide legal advice — for permit denials, HOA disputes, or enforcement actions, a licensed local attorney is the right resource.
What HenRules Cannot Help With
We're an informational resource, not a legal service. We cannot:
- Review your specific CC&Rs or HOA documents
- Advise you on whether you'll win an HOA dispute
- Help you appeal a permit denial
- Represent you in any legal proceeding
For those situations, a licensed attorney in your state is the right resource. Many state bar associations have attorney referral services with free or low-cost initial consultations.
Ordinance Updates Move Fast
Municipal ordinances change regularly — sometimes with very little public notice. If you've confirmed that your city recently updated its chicken ordinance and our page is out of date, please let us know with a link to the official source. Keeping our data current is a top priority and reader tips are invaluable.
